giftcard inspiration...

Sometimes the inspiration comes from weird places, and today that place is giftcardcollector.com. Looks like some of my favorite illustrators (Kirsten Ulve, Alexander Blue, J. Otto, etc.,) have done a giftcard for Target. It's a great skill to be able to convey a message and make it visible from a far on just 2x3.5 inches of space.
I threw in the DOMO giftcard just because I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him dressed as a vampire:)

okay very funny Helen, I was just in Target about 10 min ago!! I love looking at all the new goods they have and I had to buy my little guy a Spongebob blanket. Boy do I wish I created Spongebob so I could just hang out and not work soo hard!

Ellen, funny story for you too:
The dude who created spongebob spent 8 years pitching it until it got picked up!
Nothing is too easy in this world! XO:)helen

I love the DOMO one! I hope you are well Miss Lovely Helen! It's SPRING here! And we're all bouncing off the walls with longing for SUMMER! I can't believe Target does such cool things over there - Target here is pretty daggy! Hurrah to you! xx
